Comment on Leccinum sp. Carpini (14767)
Created: 2008-12-01 07:17:34 Summary: No birch tree around? Comment: That would be an interesting find as all the L. scrabrums found in the bay area have usually been found under planted birch trees. Also, from what the photo shows, there seems to be a little too much red in the cap…and are those madrone leaves under the specimen? Could it be a L. manzanitae? |
