Comment: Noah, I looked at the species ID you refer to, (in my Australian references), but I have seen this species (now presented),before in dryer times and the colour is always the same (light orange/brown) whether wet or dry weather. The Australian reference you nominated is totally different to this (Auricularia group) and the underside is not smooth as shown in my references for this group also. The colour of this image 14596 substantially different in my references.. Thanks for the input so quickly. Always appreciated when having difficulty in ID subject.
