Summary: What a lovely color of green!

Comment: I call this species the Chameleon Hygrocybe, since it has such a confusing array of changeable colors. Fruiting seasons are also confusing when we have the whole world at our fingertips…it’s always mushroom season, somewhere.

Our local CA fungi are resting until the rains this Fall, which is why I am heading back East for the month of July!
