Comment on Peniophora rufa (7324)
Created: 2008-04-20 20:54:15 Summary: So where’s the Tremella parasite? ;-) Comment: If you followed the discussion of Tremella aurantia/mesenterica back from Jan. to Mar. of this year, we learned that the true Tremella mesenterica is a parasite of some species of Peniophora. Most of the ones discussed there were crusts, so it’s kind of neat to see a Peniophora looking like a Tremella. Seems like a case of you are what you’re eaten by! |
