Observation: Otidea leporina (Batsch) Fuckel (9366)

When: 2005-10-17
Seen at: Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]
Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Displayed at the 2006 Oregon Mycological Society Fall Mushroom Show, World Forestry Center, Portland, OR. This species had no name tag at the show, but I just found it in The Audubon Field Guide, and have added the name. Other than the coloration, it agrees with the description.
