Observation: Pseudohydnum gelatinosum (Scop.) P. Karst. (8016)

When: 2008-06-20
Collection location: Swans Crossing State Forest, New South Wales, Australia [Click for map]
Who: Ian Dodd Kundabung NSW Australia (kundabungkid)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I believe this fungi belongs to the Tremella group but unable to go beyond this point.
From other observations made I think that the Pseudohydnum gelatinosum name fits the species. Thanks for the input. Have updated site info.

Summary: Pseudohydnum?

Not a Tremella species. Could well be Pseudohydnum gelatinosum, but the photograph is not helpful, since it does not show the hymenium which should be toothed.

Summary: Kinda looks like Pseudohydum

This one kinda looks like Pseduhydnum gelinosum. Look close at the underside and see if there was little teeth.
