When: 2008-05-24
Collection location:
Oak Bottom Campground, Siskiyou Co., California, USA [Click for map]
Who:
John Harlan (harlanx6)
No herbarium specimen
Notes: As in the past in Oak Bottom, this is another lone specimen, very white inside and out, with a solid stem and a bulbous bottom. It has a fairly sharp aroma (as compared to calypatra, the spring coccora, which never has any discernable aroma in this area until they are about 3 days old, when they start becoming sort of fishy.)
