Herbarium specimen available
Notes: Found these while searching for more Sarcoscypha austriaca. These were found growing on what appeared to be decaying pine of some sort. The decaying wood was under thick layer of leaves. The Widest cap was 2/10 cm wide, longest stem was 1.5 cm long. Still unsure of the species due to its ultra small size. I sent some pictures to David Fischer. He wrote back he believes they belong to the species Mycena. As well as Debbie Veiss from this site. Good call!!

Summary: Mycena inclinata looks good, at least on a macro level.
Here is a description of this mushoom from the IMA site (Illinois Myco. Assoc.):

Summary: Mycena for sure
Thanks for the additional pictures. Now that I can see the older specimens I can see that it is a Mycena for sure. Looks quite a bit like Mycena inclinata to me. The pics have good resolution but are a bit blurry – Are you using the macro mode setting on your camera?

Summary: older specimens please
It would help to see what these look like when they are older. They kind of look like Mycena pins.
