Species Lists:
Species of the Oregon Cascades (35)
Notes: These were nice and large and fresh. There was a note from Dimitar that there is also another Lactarius from Oregon – L. scrobiculatus var. montanum. This differs from the normal L. scrobiculatus in that it doesn’t have cystidia. I didn’t put these under the scope, I didn’t have time. Nor do I think I could guarantee that it doesn’t have the cystidia, or that I was just not seeing them. So, I’m just putting these down as this species, but I wanted to make a note that these might be the other one.
