When: 2008-09-27
Collection location: Santa Rosa, Sonoma Co.,California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Debbie Drechsler (debdrex)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Fruiting on lawn in a small, scattered group. Pileus pale tan, slightly darker at umbo, striate from margin to halfway up to umbo. When stored in a prone position the pileus reoriented itself so that the gills were parallel to the ground.

Gills pale tan at first then dark brown except at margin where they were nearly white. Attached.

Stipe white, shiny and easily shredded.

Spore print was pale brown, but not reliable because there were very few spores.
