Notes: This Amanita seems to be in section Leipdella. It has a green stem base! The rest of the mushroom is very powdery. A sample is being sent to Rod Tulloss.

Summary: gill color

The gill color is a little dark but not much, the gills were not a pure white.

What a strange Amanita! It looks almost like it has black spores (I guess the picture lies about the colour on the gills).
